A view from the top in Canyonlands.

We liked these delicate desert flowers.

Yes it was very windy.  If I had been wearing a wig it would
have blown off.

This is delicate arch, the famous license plate arch.

This arch was in Canyon Lands.

Craig always likes the big rocks.

This was our view from the restaurant window.  It is the not
so "Green River".
day the weather was cool and cloudy, but it was good for hiking.  The next day was sunny and pleasant.  I was glad we were at Arches that day because the red rock formations were at their best in the sunlight with a bright blue sky and billowing white clouds.  We were there at a good time, because the parks were not overly crowded.  We took several short hikes and we averaged about five miles a day.  We liked the way we could drive to a place and take a hike of not more than a mile and a half and see an impressive view.
We found a great restaurant in Green River and enjoyed eating dinner there.

April 2019

We started the month with a trip to Farm Country at Thanksgiving point.  The grandchildren enjoyed feeding the animals.  After a long wait the younger children went on the pony rides.  The older ones did the hay wagon ride.  We had a delicious picnic at a park near Melany's home in Lehi.

We had a delicious picnic at the park.

The boys liked eating on this rock

It was great to finish Ian's denim quilt.

March 2019

Some of the highlights of March were celebrating St. Patricks day with the family,  Celebrating our Anniversary and the Pinewood derby.
I love my geranium in the winter.

The Pinewood Derby was a great success.
