A view from the top in Canyonlands.

We liked these delicate desert flowers.

Yes it was very windy.  If I had been wearing a wig it would

day the weather was cool and cloudy, but it was good for hiking.  The next day was sunny and pleasant.  I was glad we were at Arches that day because the red rock formations were at their best in the sunlight with a bright blue sky and billowing white clouds.  We were there at a good time, because the parks were not overly crowded.  We took several short hikes and we averaged about five miles a day.  We liked the way we could drive to a place and take a hike of not more than a mile and a half and see an impressive view.
We found a great restaurant in Green River and enjoyed eating dinner there.
