April 2020

The quarantine goes on and I have tried to make it a productive month.  I put all my loose cards in a scrap book.  I made a quilt for Gwenda and made 20 cloth masks to donate to the CDC.  I have cleaned out my sewing room drawers, read some good books, worked on family history most days.  I have visited with people on the phone, done some door ministering and put most of my family photos into albums.  I am slowly reading my journals to add to my life history.  I have practiced the piano for at least 30  minutes almost every day.  I have rotated the food in our 72 hour kits and added fresh supplies for our first aid kit.  We have done lots of weeding and put in a few new plants.  We have planted onions and potatoes in our garden and cleaned out the shed.  We have taken lots of long walks.  We have also had some good church meetings in our home.  I am trying to make the most of this rare gift of time.  I do look forward to spending time with our family and attending the temple and our church meetings again.
James, Ian and Joseph came to help us with yard work.
We loaned them Craig's guitar so they could learn a new skill.

Gwenda's quilt on the frame.

Craig re-built his rock garden.
