We spent five days in Michigan visiting Emily and her family. We visited the Detroit Institute of Art.
We all enjoyed that, even Gwenda. The best part was the formal dinner from the 1800's we got to experience through a simulation. We went to Greenfield village. The little girls loved the carousel and the train. Gwenda loved the big slippery slide on the playground. It was fun to watch her go down that slide over and over. She is a fearless little girl. We were so grateful for good weather. We needed coats, but it was sunny and pleasant.
We played miniature golf on Saturday. I got a hole in one. I was pleased. One of the nicest things we did was attend the temple with Emily and Olivia. We did baptisms for the dead. We had many nice meals and we enjoyed attending church with them on Sunday. We watched some good movies together and we were able to do some reading. It was good to have a little vacation.
