Hi everyone. I think I got sidetracked. I intended to update my blog sooner. We had a nice trip to Michigan. It was very cold and rainy for the first two days. The weekend was nicer. Our gracious host, the man of the house bought new socks for all the girls to keep us warm. We visited the state library in Lansing, Michigan. It had a lot of good family history books. We could have stayed there for days looking through the books. We attended the Detroit Temple on Friday, accompanied by our gracious hostess, who should have been in the picture with us, but my batteries on my camera died. We visited a favorite cider mill and got some delicious cider and doughnuts. We also visited a farm where Livy could pet the animals and try out farm life for herself. We watched movies and read books and had a nice relaxing visit. We were especially fortunate to see the Primary program, while we were there and here from one of the most talented members of the Primary.
Halloween came soon after our trip. Deb hosted the party at her house. The kids did the annual pumpkin walk game and then went out to go trick-or-treating.
We got to spend some time with little A.J., the newest grandchild. She is a sweet little doll and many of us enjoyed the peace of holding this tiny little girl.
