The Last Week of June

We celebrated Dad's birthday after the reunion.  We had Zariah spend the next week at our house.  It was good to have a longer visit with her and enjoy some nice activities with her cousins. She was able to do Baptisms for the dead in the Logan temple, the Provo Temple, and the Salt Lake Temple.  We visited the Ashton Gardens and Temple Square and thc church history museum.

Family Reunion at Bear Lake

June 20-22 2019
We had a somewhat chilly but an enjoyable reunion at Bear Lake.  It was a little cold for the lake, but  Olivia and Charity and a few others  took the challenge to immerse themselves in that cold lake all for the promise of a raspberry milkshake from Grandpa.  We enjoyed games and visiting and our decorating T-shirts and painting bird houses and little boxes.  We were so grateful to have all of our children and grandchildren in attendance, even for a brief moment.  We are glad we could get a family picture to remember it.  I don't expect this will happen again.  It was a great blessing and an answer to many prayers.  When the photographer came, James and Merynne had not arrived.  They got a little lost like most of us did looking for the cabin.  Then someone said there had been an accident.  I thought "Oh No, not now."  Then someoned said it was one of the little children who needed to change their clothes after a toilet accident.  What a relief.  I cryed for joy when James and Merynne arrived.  We had lots of good food and it was great having so many of us together.

Those Lazy Crazy Hazy Days of Summer

Wow, what a lot of special days we enjoyed in June.  We visited the Butterfly Biosphere, the Ashton Gardens, the curiosity museum, This is the Place State park and Temple Square and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, as well as the Conference.  We were lucky enough to hear an Organ Recital at the Conference Center.  There were also some good time spent in the temple.  We made a lot of lovely memories.
