Halloween 2016

October 27, 2016

We held our family Halloween Party tonight.  Missy brought the pumpkin bread bowls and we had soup and chili.  We did our traditional pumpkin walk.  It was fun to get together and see everyone's costumes.  We finished off the evening with trick-or-treating to doors in our home.

Visiting our East Coast Family

October 14, 2017
We visited Brent and Loni and their family this fall.  We were also joined by Debbie and three of her children, as well as Susan and Allison.  We saw the Statue of Liberty, a Broadway Play.  We also ate in some nice restaurants, though I liked their home cooking best.  We had a very enjoyable time.  It was nice to see where they live and the schools the girls attend.

Happy Labor Day

September 5, 2017
We spent Labor Day "laboring' over the peach harvest.  We were grateful for the help of our family members to harvest all of our peaches.  We love our peaches.  When they are ripe, we eat fresh peaches day after day and never tire of them.  We are very grateful for our peach tree.
We also had a barbecue and a nice visit with our family.

This must be the cheering section for the fruit pickers.

Our little grandchildren always love this table for a hideout.

Emerson is Born

August 31, 2016
Emerson decided he couldn't wait until September to be born. About 4:00 in the morning we received a phone call telling us that Kevin and Melany were heading to the hospital.  Emerson was born later that morning.  He was a beautiful baby with lots of dark hair.  We  took his brothers and sisters to the hospital to see him.  He had a great welcoming committee.
