March Memories
I went shopping the other day hoping to get some daffodils. I couldn't find them anywhere in Smith's. I asked for help and a man helped me find these. They hadn't bloomed yet and they were sitting in a bucket of water on the floor surrounded by shelves of blooming flowers. I never would have seen them if I hadn't had help. The next day these stalks of green that looked more like onions than flowers burst into bloom. They were the most beautiful daffodils I had ever had. Everyone noticed them who came into the house. I'm sure there is a similarity in the way we perceive some people. Some people seem so ordinary we overlook them because we haven't seen their potential, but inside every person is that potential to be someone wonderful if we just wait until they bloom.
I finished this quilt a month or so ago, but I am just getting around to including it in my blog. It is for Merynne, my grandaughter who loves blue. I call it "Blue Skies" and I hope she has lots of them in her life.
Sunday, brought visits from family. We enjoyed dinner together and then some of them did stunts to amaze us.
